I was told that this beautiful owl didn’t like having his picture taken. He was very grumpy with another photographer, however unexpectedly, the wise owl wasn’t put off when I asked him politely for permission to take his photo. Isn’t he mysterious and gorgeous!

My childhood fantasy
Took me to the wildwood
Of my dreams.
Here in the wildwood
Existed earth
Sprites and nymphs.
I glimpsed them
Dancing and
Singing mysteriously.
I wished I was
Part of their world.

A rose,
Elegant as
Oriental silk,
A Rhapsody in Ruby
Pink.
Luxurious,
Sensitive,
Connotes a
Sultry summer evening.
On the parterre,
A diva dances
To a phantasmagorical
Duet, divinely
Euphoric,
Embracing each
Others melodies.
A tingling of enrapturing
Ruby pink pollen,
Like dew drops
Drenching the soul,
The diva’s dulcet
Tones seek solace.
Mysteriously
A whirlwind of petals
Scatter love letters,
Breathless, the deva
Draws a petal.
Enraptured by
Ambrosial perfume,
Vivaciously,
She leaves
The soiree
To seek her beau.
Unicorns peep through
Copses adorned with crystals.
Tiptoe on chamomile lawns,
Mesmerized by trickling
Rainbow fountains,
Through stone arches.
Xanadu’s most secret,
enchanted garden.
