Dreamy Meadow

​Lazily, toe by toe,

Treading on wispy grasses;

Soft silk bed of fresh miniature flora.

Soaring high –

 Skylarks, their

Singing lingers like lover’s whispers

Before vanishing through dreamy vapours.

Cow parsley’s filigree fountains

Shower the wake of Ox Eye daisies.

Hazy white petals slightly dazed, 

Enjoy sherbet scented kissing wind.

Jolly collies

Jolly Collies weave and bounce

Through the  mellow meadow.

Zelous yellow daisies

Raise their heads

Daringly.

Daisy faze

Daisy faze,
Lost in a dusty,
Citrus, hazy
Maze.
Painterly dainty dots in
Crisp linen rays.
Twisting twizzles,
Popping mops like
Fizzling sherbet
Drops.

Pixilation Sensation

Pixilation sensation!
Elixir elation.
Flirty
Floppy
Lolloping
Poppies,
Bopping daisies,
Faery fanfares,
Dainty cornflowers
Jauntily courting.
Butterflies cavorting!

Back to normal this week after the excitement of my son’s wedding. I’m still downloading the photographs and promise I will delight you with pictures of the joyful occasion soon! This morning,walking near the village of Sandridge near St.Albans,we came accross this amazing field blazing with summer colour. It was such a feast, too much to resist! Enjoy!

Whimsically wandering

Along the Colne, Not far from home, Whimsically wandering, Pondering: Longing for the Kingfisher to Sing, Wishing for Deer To appear. Gently treading: Daisies for A fairy wedding And Pretty nettle petals. Settling by the Weeping Willow, Velvet Violets By my pillow. Humbled by Bumblebees; Entranced by Trees. So much to See.

Dreamy daisies,
Dippy, hippie,
Deliriously
Dancing.
Precocious
Petals,
Bodacious.
Proudly peeping
Through
The hay;
Enjoying
Energizing,
All day.

Innocence

Frail,
Tiny,
Startlingly
Cheerful,
Simple Daisies
Like purest,
Translucent
Votive candles.
Serenading flames,
Flirt innocently
With eyes strained.
Tiny tears
Melt away
As the golden
Lights
Heal our hearts.

Fascinating meadow

The meadow’s buzzing,
Grasses jousting
Like a knights’ tournament,
Buttercups proudly
Shaking like fair
Maid’s bonnets,
Dandelion seeds
Dispersing in
Southerly
Breezes like
Sprinkles of fairy
Kisses.
Daisy charms
Adorn children
Whose footsteps
Tread, releasing
Sweet honey aromas,
Their giggles
Heard from dusk
Till dawn on
Midsummer eve.
Fawns leap
And elves weep
For joy as
The Fairy Queen
Is crowned in the
Toadstool ring.
