A golden rose entices your nose,
closer to Iits glowing heart.
A sniff of summer apricot tart,
Smiling barley corn fields
And high fluttering larks,
Lulling you out of the dark.
This beautiful rose was planted in spring and is happily flowering, delighting hearts. 🙂

A golden rose was just what I needed today, the day after sugary to my gut. Four incisions healing nicely. Lavender’s beautiful words, especially “a sniff of summer apricot tart” made this sublime. Hope you like it, too. Have a magical day.
Thanks Brenda and I hope a sniff of apricot tart helps your healing. Lolxx
Why not? LOL

Thank you. I feel that each rose has a story to tell; it’s scent, colour and the shape of the flowers.
