Frosty seeds and winter trees

This Solar print was inspired by my moonlit frosty dog walks. The seedheads were encrusted with ‘fairy dust’ reaching out to the moon.

This solar print was inspired by my photos of trees in winter, taken In what I call the ‘Fairy wood’; a beautiful, quiet, well planted woodland where we often walk. Every day there is something new to see. The Green Woodpecker has been a recent visitor. My dogs love to chase squirrels and jump over the piles of logs, the woodland is a natural Green Gym.

  1. I have been making lots of soups.. Leek and potato.. But I have been nibbling lots of nuts, Brasil nuts and hazel nuts mixed with Clementine’s.. I like pomegranate scattered in salad πŸ™‚ and Figs πŸ™‚

    • Sounds delicious! I’ve been snacking on Brazil nuts this afternoon. I made a salad on xmas eve, scattered with pomegranate seeds gleaming like jewels. I’ll have to post it. I love figs warmed with goats cheese and a drizzle of balsamic on top. Winter food can be quite delicious! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

      • Hummmmm… now that sounds lovely.. Sorry just getting back to you.. I had my Granddaughter over to stay πŸ™‚ so do not use computer on her visits πŸ™‚ xxx
