Serendipitous yellow

serendipitous yellow trfoils

For miles

The meadows are frayed and

 faded

Like antique millinery and worn

Linen upholstered chairs.

Tearing through mournful layers

Serendipitously,

Yellow, playful

Dayglo

Trefoils romp

In the pasture,

Lightening,

Brightening,

As an Oxeye daisy

Lazily looks on.

This post was prompted by Cee’s  fun foto challenge ‘yellow’. I hope you enjoy it. You can see more entries by clicking on the link below.

  1. I just want to let you know that I nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award. There is a special tab on my blog for it. I don’t know if you do these or not (my first, probably last time) but I have a link there that will bring readers to your blog.

    • Very kind of you to nominate me, however in the past I’ve tried to stick to the rules, but somehow they never work for me, so sorry I decline but many thanks again for thinking of me. 🙂
