I couldn’t resist entering my little fairytale cottage into Cees challenge. I can imagine a higgledy piggledy wibbly wobbly cottage, full of creaks and spooky corners and a welcoming waft of warm gingerbread.

I almost fell into the hedge when taking this shot, but I couldn’t resist the temptation. Beautiful glossy red berries, probably deadly to birds because they are always left dangling, withering away eventually, quite sad really. However they make a photographer’s day! Enjoy!

On my journey this year, I have noticed so many beautiful flowers, so today I have decided to celebrate the colour pink, the colour of our heart centre, bringing love and happiness into our lives. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I’ve been enjoying my journey with the colour pink.

I loved walking along this garden path discovering the magic of the cottage garden.Look how the Buddlea draws us closer to the open blue framed bedroom window. Perhaps an artist is sitting there painting the view and enjoying the scented summer. For me, experiencing this hideaway garden was a very special moment. I hope you enjoy it too. 🙂

Autumn is such a magical time anyway, however this autumn feels really special with its abundant gifts of beautiful fruits, bursting with healing energy. In every hedgerow and dangling from many trees are so many fruits, berries and nuts; we’re spoilt for choice. My husband made many jars of Damson jam to see us through the winter and spring.
