How cathartic torrential rain can be. Even though I got soaked I felt closer to nature. All my senses became enhanced. It was a wonderful experience. Enjoy.:-)

Cees fun foto challenge: Sunburst

This week’s fun challenge is ‘black and white’.  I love the vibrancy of this beautiful summer daisy, however the black and white version to me shows the elegance of the flower, highlighting its intricately patterned centre.The black and white version also stands for summer’s colours fading into autumn. Enjoy.

Serene Saturday: Cerulean Cornflowers

Cerulean cornflowers

Sedately soaring like

Sapphire stars;

Touring tourmaline

Skies.

An old Egyptian legend tells us that  tourmaline, on its way up from the centre of the earth, passed over a rainbow. So that’s why  it is still referred to as the ‘gemstone of the rainbow’.

Toumaline in crystal therapy is known to heal the mind.
