Luxurious Lupins
Flourishing,
Nourishing
Nougat turrets,
Glittering,
Tinkling
Amethyst
Pixie pinnacles.
Smell the healing fragrance of honey. Nourish your imagination.
This border in the town centre of Welwyn Garden City was filled with lupins and Cerulean iris, so beautiful.
I followed a reblog of this and am so glad I did. It is a treat for the sense, glorious!
Thanks and welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy many more posts. 🙂

Amazing translation. Well done. I’m trying to read it out in German, my poem sounds very different! 🙂
I tried to keep the feeling, the intonation, the twistling and rhythm, also the rhyming.
I had to compress or to extend some meanings.
I replaced “nourishing” by sound painting “blingelnd” which is a duplicate to “tingelnde” and both together give impression of stage and sound.
“Nourishing” I moved to “duftversprühende” (well smelling) – because this is rather near.
It is not a linear word by word translation. But for Children rhymes it is more appropriate, I think.
Hi, I enjoyed your magical picture and poem very much.
I will try a German version.

Glad you enjoyed my Lupins enough to translate it into German. Cerulean is a dark blue colour. So would you like to re blog my original and have your translation beside it? Have fun! 🙂
